This is a customized Traditional Breyer model, with a new Westwood head, newly sculpted, slightly turned neck, new ears and new mane/forelock. All noticeable seams, logos and rough areas have been removed and sanded. He has also been gelded. Then the model is thoroughly prepped and primed prior to painting.
This was the Bravour model on the Trakehner mold. I painted him to a brown Bay with a minimum of white markings and he could be so many breeds from Thoroughbred to Warmblood. I call him Chesapeake and would show him as a Standardbred or Thoroughbred, I think! He was painusing artist quality acrylics and sealed in multiple coats of UV protecting sealant.
