Custom painted Breyer Stablemate
The Champagne is a popular dilute color that differentiates from buckskins, which it is often confused with, by the total lack of black pigment. They have distinctive peachy, pink skin pigment that is speckled with a coffee, caramel color.
Painted in artist quality acrylics, then sealed him in multiple coats of UV protecting matte clearcoat sealant.
I prep all my Stablemates by removing their logo and any bad seams & defects. Then I sand them smooth before priming and curing thoroughly.
