Customized Breyer Traditional Model
This beauty started life as a Breyer German Riding Pony (Nikolas). I replaced his head and ears which required resculpting his neck too, then I sculpted a new forelock, mane and tail, and elongated his hip and slightly leveled his croup in order to turn him into my vision of a Crabbet bred Arabian. He was then painted with oils and finished with artist quality acrylics. Finally he was sealed with multiple coats of satin UV protecting clearcoat varnish.
