An Original Finish Breyer Model Set from my Personal Collection.
The Messenger Series, based on the small dun factor mustangs of Spanish descent, that Breyer brought out in 1994, was game changing for Breyer and its relationship with these feral herds. The series of models, sculpted by renowned wildlife artist Rowland Cheney, really set Breyer apart from other model manufacturers as it began an association to the Kiger mustangs in the American Southwest and the charitable organizations that aid in the support of these herds, that Breyer enjoys to this day.
The Progeny - Gift Set, Charging Mesteño and his yearling Rojo is a 1995 release in Good to Very Good condition. The yearling Rojo does have some very small dark flecks on his hip, (see picture). No Box
