Custom Painted Artist Resin
This is a very special portrait model of renowned racehorse Secretariat, done on Kitty Cantrell's iconic Man O' War artist resin.  Secretariat shared many things with Man O' War, above and beyond their incredible speed and stamina; they shared similar facial markings, the moniker "Big Red" and a peculiarity among horses - they both liked to look at things above them in the sky, which led them to often stand in this very upright manner, star-gazing! Which Kitty captured brilliantly! I am including a wooden base for this model to stand on which comes with his nameplate attached.
No details of this mighty champion were left out, including his ermine spots and one single spot in his hind sock. This guy is huge! I would estimate that he is actually 1:8 or 1:7 scale. 
Painted using artist quality oils, acrylics and PearlEx and sealed in multiple coats of UV protecting clearcoat sealant.
